Sport & Activities
Sports and activities build health, connection, and community. As habits evolve, we design adaptable spaces linking sport, wellness, and hospitality. From community hubs to competitive arenas, our projects strengthen engagement and well-being.

Rethinking Sports and Activity Spaces
Traditional sports facilities often overlook informal and intergenerational use, leaving young people vulnerable to social isolation. At the same time, many public spaces remain underutilized due to rigid planning. Cities need adaptable, inclusive activity spaces that foster belonging and community engagement.

Self-organised is the mega trend
Club sport dominates childhood but drops after 16; adults shift to self-organised activity. Since the 1990s, self-organised participation has grown as club participation declines, while private/commercial options rise. Left: trend 1994–2024. Right: age split (2016). To respond, we need innovative and inclusive arenas that reflect new habits, bridging social gaps and inviting all generations to participate. Our projects aim to reimagine activity spaces as open, flexible environments where communities thrive through movement, play, and shared experience.

Shifting Demands in Sport and Tourism
A growing demand for professional-level performance, eco-conscious active vacations, and mental well-being is transforming expectations. We respond to these trends by designing innovative, inclusive spaces that merge activity, recovery, and sustainability—ensuring our projects align with evolving needs and future lifestyles.
