The building’s original character and structure have guided our renovation approach, emphasizing the exposed concrete framework and preserving its generous volumes.

Erected among the pioneering vertical industrial buildings of the 1970s and 1980s in the eastern Paris basin, the Centre d’Activité de Pointe (CAP 2) requires renovation along with upgrades to meet current safety and accessibility standards. To comply with the 2030 French tertiary-sector decree, optimizing climate conditions through the installation of a double-flow ventilation system was prioritized. The common areas reflect the mineral character of the ensemble: surfaces are clad with acoustic materials and lighting fixtures, enhanced with touches of color and silver reflections, completing the building’s rigorous yet elegant expression. With panoramic views over Montreuil and Paris, the new rooftop terrace significantly enhances the quality of services provided to users of this contemporary office building. Unique within its environment, this structure embodies the transformation of industrial heritage toward a modern, service-oriented purpose.
