The architectural intervention consists in optimizing the existing partitioning in order to organize the apartment around a central piece of furniture which articulates the usual spaces: the kitchen, the living room and the bedroom. This useful partition wall includes: storage space, a dressing room and household appliances.

The creation of additional storage in the entrance and in the bedroom aims to optimize the residual spaces of the apartment. In the closed position, a 2m x 2.5m sliding panel separates the bedroom from the kitchen and, in the open position, creates a large living room along the entire length of the façade. Thus, the entire living area benefits from a generous amount of natural light. The neutral aspect of the floor and wall coverings contrasts with the commercial or custom-made wooden furniture (bathroom).
